Deborah Barlow was raised in the Western U.S., primarily Utah and California, and has had a life long affinity for wide open landscapes. In addition to years of travel in the American Southwest desert, she makes frequent visits to the Australian Outback and the Celtic coastline of Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

After studying art at the University of Utah, University of California at Santa Cruz and in France, she moved to New York City where she lived for ten years before relocating to the Boston area.  She has had solo exhibitions in New York City, San Francisco CA, Santa Cruz CA, Portland OR, Rochester NY, Providence RI and Provincetown MA. Her work has been exhibited overseas in Italy, Belgium and Ireland and is included in a number of corporate and private art collections.

Deborah has been represented by Lyman-Eyer Gallery in Provincetown for nearly ten years. Her work is also available through selected art consultants and agents. Currently she lives in Brookline MA and works out her studio in South Boston.
